What’s new with Invisalign?
Friday, February 27th, 2009
Yesterday, our dental team participated in a continuing education training for Invisalign, (our clear braces system), to improve our clinical development and to learn the latest advances in align technology. Primarily, our training focused on the important link between straight teeth and periodontal (gum) health. Studies have shown that orthodontic problems (like crowded teeth) can be precursors to gum disease (because it is difficult to floss)- and gum disease is linked to systemic disease.
Did you know that the health of your mouth affects your overall health?
If you would like more information about why straight teeth are healthy teeth, call us! We’re happy to talk with you about your unique case.
Have a great weekend!
Sarah
PS- People with periodontal disease have 21 percent higher cumulative health care costs than those with healthy gums so make sure you are getting regular check ups!

Just in time for the Oscars… it’s the first day of filming at A Perfect Smile! We are in the process of creating a video that celebrates the stories of some of our patients.
